S & R Truck Plaza & Cafe

First time stopping at this establishment. The building and bathrooms are very clean. I ate in the restaurant. I had the special as I've never heard of it (Fleischkuekle). It was good. My waitress was Melissa. She was very nice and attentive.

Excellent atmosphere. It reminded me of the Thelma & Louise type restaurants in the movie 🎬. We are originally from Canada and decided to try this diner for supper because the previous review photos showed a home cooked style meal. We were not disappointed, this place makes amazing burgers, fries, and pie. It was the first time we tried the white country style gravy, yum! Also, the service is wonderful, such polite wait staff. We will definitely be back.

Honestly some of the worst waitstaff ever. I've been there multiple times and the service always sucks. They ignore you, standing around chatting, before they acknowledge your existence, then they give you food and never check on you again. No refills, nothing. Not even the bill when I was clearly ready to go. Maybe these chicks are only polite to locals. I'll never come back.

My husband’s food was greasy and his potatoes were undercooked, the coffee tasted old, the tea they served was very spoiled. The biscuits and gravy was actually really good and so was the pancakes. The customer service was pretty good as well, however when you would mention something that was wrong with the meal, they would go to the back and talk you just loud enough where you could hear it. I’m not one for making reviews like this, however this is one of the times were I kinda have to.

The food and service was top notch. I got a chance to speak with the owner who is very knowledgeable about the area. It's not very often you to speak with a owner who actually cares about taking time to speak with a stranger for as long as you like. They have pies and cinnamon rolls that are to die for. I will definitely return to try more things on the menu. Mind you this is a truck stop and diner , so you can find all sorts of goodies here. If your hungry and want quality food at a good price along with quality service I recommend you visit this gem. Two thumbs up..
