Rye Beach Park

Rented an Airbnb in the neighborhood hood next to this park and visited it a couple of times during my stay. It is a private park but a card was provided during my stay so we could visit it. It has a small playground, plenty of space to run around, picnic areas, a small beach where people did swim, and a fishing pier. It was very nice to go and just sit on some benches and relax as it was not too busy so it was not loud or crowded at all. Great amenity for the STRs and residents in the area.

We rented an Airbnb on Shore drive which fronts Rye Beach Park. What a pleasant surprise and treat this park and beach front have been for us to use during our vacation! The kids love the beach and the little inlet is the perfect swimming spot when the water is normal and not post storm (as pictured). This private, neighborhood park is a gem.

First and foremost, this park is private and restricted to the residents and short term rentals in the immediate vicinity. That being said, it is a nice, well maintained park. The playground equipment seems new, lots of benches and picnic tables, a basketball court, a small fire pit, a small beach for swimming or wading, an old fishing pier, and some rock walls to break waves. The park is dog-friendly but does require leashes and that you pick up after the dog.

Not a place to go if you're looking for beach time or to go swimming. Smelled absolutely awful. There is no beach access to the lake. There are dead fish lying on the broken slabs that you can walk out onto to get to the lake. The park was okay, but I would not recommend coming here if you're wanting to swim. Very dangerous.

cute little park by the waters of lake Erie apparently used by scout groups , has a large circular hemlock to lie down on and relax and watch the sky , kind of cool ............i saw people canoeing in the swampy canal.....
