Donut Shop - Huron, OH

First off, I would like to say I have driven by this place for years and finally stopped in today, but sadly disappointed in the service. Good selection of donuts however when it came to cash out, I was told that it is cash only. That is never a problem some local Mom and pop places are cash only and that is fine. So I was directed to the local bank or across street to the gas station to withdraw from the ATM. I had come back and paid for my donuts and made a suggestion that there should be a sign on the door that says cash only. The lady that was ringing me out said they don’t want to advertise that. Granted, I get why they do not want to advertise that they are a cash only business because it would deter people from coming in to the establishment. However, when it comes to business tact

Neat little donut shop with really good donuts... the lemon one was fantastic!

We have been coming to the Donut Shop for many years. This year I went last week twice. The prices I was charged for 6 donuts was not worth it. Plus it cost extra for the filled donuts and not all of the cream donuts I received had any filling at all. Since they were closed I couldn’t even go in to talk to the girl. She also was not very friendly when asking her questions about the prices. It cost me $14.00 for 6 cream filled donuts that did not have filling. Very disappointed. Not sure I will ever go back.

I asked a simple question about what was in one of the donuts and got a condescending response. We picked out our donuts and then went to pay with a card and she in a rude tone said it was cash only. She told us to go across the street to get cash. The only cash only sign was tiny. Donuts were fine, atmosphere was cute. Honestly the staff could’ve been much friendlier.

Delicious donuts and friendly staff. The coffee is great . This place is where the locals go and i felt very welcome here.
