Absolutely exceptional dining experience in Patchogue! I had an amazing experience at Ruta Oaxaca Mexican Cuisine, and it instantly became one of my favorite spots in the village. The atmosphere is fun, friendly, and genuinely welcoming — the kind of place where everyone feels comfortable walking in, whether you’re familiar with Mexican cuisine or trying it for the first time. The staff and management are truly outstanding: warm, attentive, and passionate about what they do. They made great recommendations and encouraged us to try dishes we wouldn’t normally order — and I’m so glad we did. Every bite was incredible. We ordered the chicken buñuelos, vegetable empanadas, shrimp costeño, churros rellenos, coffee flan, and margaritas, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were

The food and drinks are excellent. The service is great, they’re always very accommodating and pleasant. And the vibe is great- perfect for a night out. And their prices are very reasonable- I don’t have one negative thing to say about this place.

First time visiting New York, and found this restaurant by accident. The food is really amazing & great quality. Also all the staff there knows good customer service. When visiting New York again in the future, definitely will always stop in. Thanks!

A beautiful small restaurant, very cozy and perfect for date night. Very friendly and welcoming staff. They had a live mariachi band Saturday night! They were awesome and very friendly, taking any song requests. I had the Ribs Itsmeñas and I strongly recommend it. Very tender and flavorful, the sauces and salad were delicious. I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

this place is perfect. First off, it’s beautiful inside. The décor is on point, the colors pop, and everything just feels right the moment you walk in. The staff deserves major props. Literally everyone we interacted with was awesome. the host, the servers, even the people clearing tables. And it wasn’t that fake “restaurant nice.” It was real, natural, good‑energy people who actually seem happy to be there. You can feel it. Now let’s talk food, because looks don’t matter if the food isn’t hitting. Thankfully, the food went way past our expectations. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned.
