Rusty Wagon Old Tyme Food

Returning from the Lynden area, locals recommended this themed restaurant for a lunch stop I had initially passed up on the road from Bellingham. Heading inside, the place is very clean and airy. Staff was friendly and attentive. Everyone is treated well whether a family or single traveler. The food, burger, fries, and a beer were fresh and tasted better than many I have paid much more for. The salad bar was also well maintained. My new go-to place to eat when in this direction. Plenty of parking.

Fun, family-friendly place with comfort food as well as some interesting menu items. We went for late lunch on a Sunday and it was packed! Servers were scrambling and working hard. Lovely patty melt and roast beef with gravy. Baked beans were full of bacon and very flavorful and the chicken pot pie is very popular for a reason!

Super friendly atmosphere and great service. Food is delicious. I will be back to try some other yummy looking things. I had a bacon cheddar burger and my wife had a chicken pot pie both were yummy and then had a brownie with ice-cream.

This place is great. I get the chicken pot pie every time I come here. For $19 it also comes with the salad bar, a bowl of veggies, and a bun and butter! My husband got the mushroom Swiss burger and my son got the country fried steak. Everything was excellent. For dessert we shared a peanut butter chocolate piece of pie. It was DELICIOUS!

You're not going to go here for a fine dining experience. The food here is good and homey, like something grandma or Grandpa would make. The decor is super fun and funky and the service is pleasant. The dessert brownie was super huge and delicious for it's price. Come here for home style food at a reasonable price.
