Customer Reviews
Stopped there for lunch on my way to Tulsa and got a meat meal. The chopped brisket, BBQ sauce and potato salad were delicious, the slaw lacked a bit of flavor but was fresh and wasn't drowning in mayo/cream like at some other places. The staff was friendly, the restaurant and bathrooms were clean. The restaurant has a cool barn-like vibe and the prices are very reasonable. I totally recommend!
The BBQ sauce taste like tomato sauce but the meat was good. Overall not bad. I only ordered meat with no sides. My wife said her mac and cheese was bland
This is our first time trying Rustlers BBQ. The building didn't look like much when we pulled up to be honest so we weren't sure if we were in the right place! There was no cars or anything. Apparently we just happened to beat the rush because right as we were ordering people started showing up and the next thing you know it was packed! Counter service was friendly and worked with us to get a meal my wife and I could share. We ordered smoked turkey with a hot link. Mac & cheese and fries as sides. My daughter got a BBQ bologna sandwich and Mac and my son got a mild link and Mac. The turkey was smoked perfectly. It was a tad drier than some I've had but still very good. The hot link was good as well. The Mac was home-made and was creamy. The noodles were a little mushier than I
Rustlers made it into the Top 25 of our 1000 BBQ Places to Eat At In Oklahoma Before You Die! Located just north of I-40 on the Eastside of town, you know it's going to be good before you even arrive. Anytime your GPS tells you to "turn off the paved road" heading to a restaurant, you know it's legit. (Ok, the road is paved, but it's Industrial Road, and there are asphalt millings in the parking lot, and there's an RV Park...) Rustlers has a variety of meat on the menu, and everything from sandwiches to poundage available. So I decided to try the best of both worlds, the Big Jake sandwich -- sliced brisket, turkey, pulled pork, and a hot link, with pepper jack cheese on toasted sourdough bread. Big is right! Somewhere between a half and a full pound of meat was falling out of my sandwi
We drove from the Tulsa area to meet up and have lunch with family who were on a cross-country trip on I-40. We had a great time and the food was excellent! I loved the fried okra and brisket. My husband got the Big Jake and said it was delicious!!! It was worth the drive and I'd do it again!
