Rushmore Estate

This place is an absolute gem with such an incredible vibe! We stayed at Rushmore Estate for a weekend getaway, and it was exactly the refreshing break we needed. The first thing you notice is the stunning architecture and the pristine, sprawling grounds. It honestly feels like stepping back in time into a historic manor, yet the amenities and service are top-notch and completely modern. The staff was so welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The peace and quiet you find here in Highland Mills is second to none. If you're looking to escape the city hustle and stay in a "castle" with all the comforts of a luxury hotel, this is the spot!

We booked a weekend at Rushmore Estate for our 10 year wedding anniversary and had an absolutely amazing time. We really wanted a peaceful time away from nyc and were the only guests that weekend so we pretty much had the whole house to ourselves. There are only 4 rooms though so even if it was fully booked, there is plenty of space to enjoy for everyone. We took our 3 year old toddler with us who spent the whole weekend in the pool. We were also so lucky to have Mary there for our stay who helped us with everything, including finding a delicious place for dinner ( Scalia & Co in Monroe was excellent) and just made sure we had everything and anything. We prepared for the trip before hand since we have a super picky eater, and really chose this place because we could also use the kitchen.

My husband and I spent a couple of nights at the Rushmore Estate over the Labor Day weekend and could not have been more pleased. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed - love a big comfy bed with crisp white linens. Perfect weather afforded us the opportunity to utilize the beautiful heated infinity pool and expansive grounds. Our second night we decided to enjoy a gourmet picnic dinner lakeside watching the sunset while warming ourselves by the fire pit. We had the entire place all to ourselves - just so relaxing, secluded and magical. This is a special property and I encourage all guests to take full advantage of the grounds and amenities offered at the Rushmore Estate

This place is an absolute DREAM!!!! Summer, winter, fall, this place is so beautiful every time of year. A private infinity pool, lake, and tennis court an hour away from nyc is INSANE for this price. You can invite friends to come for the day and have a party- it’s so fun. And a five minute drive to Woodbury commons shopping outlets- this place has it ALL!!!!!!!

The Hudson Valley is one of our favorite locations to photograph weddings, and Rushmore Estate is a prime example of why! The whole team at Rushmore was so easy and a real pleasure to work with from start to finish. The property is filled with so much charm and beauty, too. We love venues that have it all - beautiful locations from getting ready, to sunset ceremonies, outdoor cocktail hours, and an amazing space to dance the night away under the stars. Did we also mention there's a pool? One of our favorite memories is when the bride and guests jumped in full formal wear at the end of the night! Seriously great place - thanks so much to the whole team for being so awesome!
