Ruscello at Nordstrom

I very much enjoyed my lunch: basil tomato soup, chicken Parmesan, and a white chocolate pudín with strawberries.

Somewhat speechless -- still surprised to see a full-service diner cafe literally hidden in the middle of a premium department store in a large mall already filled with highly competitive aggressively advertizing food establishments. What's more? The food ingredients seem fresh and made to order. The flavor and taste may not seem consistent, but it beats the heck out disrupting the entire shopping experience and having to truck one and one's family 1000 to 2000 feet to eat something and walk all the way back to pick up shopping ---- congrats to Nordstrom strategist for trying to keep shoppers without Nordstrom store boundaries. Now in all honesty, the food seems inconsistent and the flavors are ok. Extra marks for having specials like lamb burger with harissa sauce and lambd pizza. T

I’ve been shopping and dining at Ruchello Café at Nordstrom for a long time, and it’s honestly disappointing to see how much the prices have gone up. I’m not sure if this is happening at all locations, but the Montgomery Mall café has become outrageous. $30 for a salad that barely comes with any protein is insane. I’ve literally measured the portion before—my hand is bigger than the amount of chicken they give. And seeing other menu prices like $45 for mac & cheese is unbelievable. Even Cheesecake Factory doesn’t charge like that. This isn’t a dim-light, fine-dining restaurant where pricing needs to be this high. So who’s approving this? Because it’s honestly unreasonable, and at this point, I don’t think I’ll be dining here anymore. I really enjoy the salad, but I’m not paying $30 for a

Had a great lunch at the cafe. Tasty food, nicely portioned, good service. The atmosphere of this cafe is more like a diner. Nothing fancy but comfortable. We had the steak barley soup, lobster bisque, calamari, heriloom tomatoes burrata salad, ravioli, turkey avocado sandwich, and penne bolognese pasta with chicken meatball. And we all enjoyed everything we ordered. Our server was attentive and courteous & price came out pretty reasonable. Definitely recommended by @WineDinenVacay

Had a simply wonderful experience here! The food was great, excellent service, the manager Kristy came by our table and had the brightest smile and a stellar attitude! The staff seemed so happy and kristy seemed to be super helpful and supportive to them. I can’t wait to bring some friends back over and over and over again!
