Rubia's Fine Mexican Dining

We’ve known for years that Rubia’s was there, and finally tried them. Food was good, the lunch special and my wife’s Rubia’s bowl. Lunch special was only $10, and just the right size. Stevi was our server and she checked on us regularly. We’re looking forward to visiting here again and exploring the menu. Never saw or was offered chips and salsa though, which is weird because they seemed pretty proud of their salsa…

Ordered Enchiladas but can tiny taquitos instead for 17 dollars. We had to ask for garnish to add to it when it was served to us. We got a tiny bowl of lettuce and tomatoes. Looking at pictures on here, the refried beans come with shredded cheese. But mine didn't just plain beans. I got a chimichanga with red chili and didn't come with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and guacamole like the pictures on here come with, but it was good just with the red chili sauce. We also got a carne Asada steak we asked for the green chili to be put on the side, but it came with cheese and chili on top of the steak. Kids hamburger was good. I wished I would have taken pictures. I had higher expectations for the food here. Service was good and atmosphere was nice.

Great specials!! The chile relleno on Fridays you cannot beat. Very competent, polite, responsive and pleasant service. Moderate prices... 4+food. Definately worth the trip!

Visiting from out of town, and not many in person dining options, I had both dinner and breakfast here. Let me say, they take care of you. The meals were delicious and plentiful. The waitstaff understood I don't always want one beverage at a time. I will definitely go back if I'm in town again.

We been going there for breakfast every Monday. Today, they change opening until 1100 and no breakfast! Certainly not going back
