Authentic Chinese, maybe on the slightly pricier side, but the quality and portions are great. Nice place to take the kids as there's usually no wait. Winners for us are: 東北扣肉 Steamed Pork - Northeastern Style (basically Dongpo Pork, very tender and not oily, bonus it comes with lots of veggies) 冬瓜燉排骨 Stewed Spare Ribs with Winter Melon (soup is very flavorful, has clear noodles which the kids like) 什錦炒飯 Fried Rice (huge plate, hearty portions of meat) 蔥油餅 (thicker/more substantial than other places)
Authentic, mouth-watering Dim Sum. Our family had the steamed buns stuffed with pork, but it might be more accurate to call them soup dumplings. These were incredibly savory, served at just the right temperature to be warm but not scalding. We also got the stir-fried string beans, the scallion pancakes, the pot stickers, and the pork with tofu strips. All dishes were served at a reasonable speed and they even accommodated our request for less salt, which not many restaurants have.
Pretty good Chinese food with a variety of Northern and Southern cuisine. Some of our favorites were the soup dumplings, sliced beef pancakes, Dandan Noodles, and Glutinous Rice Balls with Fermented Sweet Rice Soup (N01). Service was friendly and food came out in a timely fashion. We got there early and didn't have to wait for a table. Prices were reasonable.
My 2nd time here. Their beef "burrito" is their best dish IMO. The beef is cut thin but full of flavor; the wrap is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside; combined with the bean paste, cucumber, and cilantro it really is a wonder dish to behold. Dry pot beef is very good as well. Beef is extremely tender. But because it is on par with similar dishes offer by other restaurant, it didn't wow me like their beef burrito did. My first time there, we also ordered their signature eggplant dish. It was very oily, but very yummy. It's hard to imagine that they could turn a simple eggplant into a entire dish. After eating there twice, I think that I may return for some beef burrito take out from time to time. And once in a while, I may come for a sit down meal.
Good flavor, quite authentic. Generous portion and reasonable price. Favorite dish is the five color appetizer salad with vegetables, shredded beef, shrimp and mung bean noodle, topped with tahini sauce mixed in mustard. (It's the last item in appetizer section) Steamed fish with tofu is good for people conscious of the calories - light and healthy. Ordered 4 dishes and ended up enough food for 2 people for 2 meals. Total bill is only around $60. Will come back!
