Customer Reviews
Who knew a library could have an aquarium? Add in friendly staff, a clean environment, and gorgeous surroundings, such a gem.
No parking lot but somewhat easy street parking. Giving how rich a town Cupertino is, you would think their library would be incredible. It's fine, nicer than Redwood City library, not as nice as Los Altos, Portola Valley or Menlo Park libraries. Also the HVAc system here is terrible. Clearly I'm not the first person to feel this because there are large free standing fans everywhere. It's uncomfortably warm, and extremely crowded. The Quiet Study room is unbearably warm. Despite being packed, it is nice and quiet. As it is large, you can avoid hearing screaming kids by coming to the second floor. The librarians here are nice, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. It's open later than most nearby libraries on Sundays which is nice. Also, the roof is constantly making a weird rumbling noise,
Great infrastructure and good selection of books. It is very quiet and kept clean. Good atmosphere for learning and studies. I could spend tons of time here without boredom.
Libraries are awesome. So many free and helpful resources beyond the wonderful gift of books and reading like free borrowing of material, computer use, community events and activities, learning programs, etc. This is one we checked out while around the area a while ago in the fall. There is a nice open front area in a quiet neighborhood area with a good selection of material including local history, a unique aquarium in the front and interactive details and signs. When we visited there was also a garden that was closed and renovations in progress to expand the area. Some areas are a bit dated and had a slight odor, but taking into consideration it's a public space as well.
My favorite big love Library with my baby! There are many story times here, and there is a pretty good aqua tank at the entrance of the library. Kids love modular toys and board books in the children's area. I am grateful to be able to feel the expressions and laughter of the children who performed their activities here. The second floor of the library has a foreign language book area. In my case, I also borrow books in Korean from this place. Most of all, my baby is every time having fun alone here without my touch! Great for interacting with new sweet friends. So, I am coming every week. The owner of the library cafe is kind and the ice cream is delicious. A place to learn about the world!
