Roxy's Island Grill

The Kalbi Rib Plate was delicious. It was tender, flavorful, and fresh. Portion sizes are very reasonable, especially considering how consistently good the food is. Service can be hit or miss. With the huge volume of customers they handle, I imagine it’s not the easiest place to work, so I give them grace. One thing I appreciate is how customer-friendly the setup is. They provide everything you need - sauces, utensils, napkins, filtered water, and cups—and keep it all well-stocked and easy to access. Despite the busy atmosphere, Roxie’s Island Grill remains one of the best spots in Murray Hill for fast, satisfying Hawaiian-inspired comfort food.

Unclean tables, dirty with sauce and rice. Flies all over inside, broken soda machine, warm beverages. Order chicken "katsu" the chicken seemed to fried with motor oil, and the chicken was disgusting. Will not recommend or visit this nasty place ever.

On 1/28/26 we ordered: Kalbi chicken with kimchi, macaroni salad, and vegetables Hamburger steak with salad Good price and portion sizes. Everything was served in take out containers. We only live about 5 minutes away and it was cold by the time we started eating. Cold sides such as the kimchi and macaroni salad and salad are served in the same container as the main entree. Half the salad was soggy and covered in gravy from the hamburger steak.

Sweet Garlic chicken tasted like old, refrigerated then fried 3 more times to reheat. Definitely concerning on quality and freshness. So bummed because I used to love this place so much, but now I don’t trust how clean or fresh it is. The chicken is so chewy that it is like jerky. There’s crispy and then there is jerky. And old oil smell. No sauce or real flavor to it because I think it’s been reheated multiple times. Waste of my money and time. Aloha, Roxy’s. 😢

This particular Roxy’s location, in our opinion, has been the best we’ve had and most consistent. The food here is great! Their Pork Adobo, Saimin, and Sweet Garlic Chicken is what we tried recently and it was sooo good! Highly recommend.
