Coastal Vibes Fish & Chowder Co.

The owner was super friendly and welcoming! I ordered the fish and chips and the chowder, and everything was amazing especially the chowder! So good! I also loved that they had Heinz vinegar packets available. I prefer my coleslaw a little more vinegary, so that was a nice touch.

So stumbled onto this food truck picking up another order from another food truck next door and the owner's were nice enough to give me a sample of their seafood chowder. OMGGG it was so good I had to get a cup to go as well as try one of their Cod & Chips to go for fam to sample that I ended up coming to grab this again a week later which was yesterday. I am not a fan of chowder but let me tell you this is the best chowder I've ever had where I didn't need to add anything to it...Oyster crackers, black pepper, hot sauce my usual go to...this needed NOTHINGGG. Got the same order yesterday only one order we tried the tots instead of the fries but it was soooo good. And the tartar sauce is "Dilly Dilly" LOL they got that dill like its the new trend and just enough given to eat with everythin

Really good fish and chips! The breading is light and crispy and the fish (we had the special, rockfish) was fresh and tasty inside. We also got the fries and while they looked pretty basic, they tasted great. Not overly salty, but had a really good potato flavor and nice crunch even after the ride home. And the people in the cart were great, offering free samples of chowder, fielding questions and prividing excellent service.

Bro…freakin fire! I live on the opposite side of town (Clackamas) but I heard they had good chowder and fish n chips…blown away. I ended up actually trying shrimp, chicken, fish, and the chowder since I don’t come to Beaverton often but really wishing these guys a lot of success so they can open more locations. Also, fun fact, this was the first time I heard of “side winders”…delicious. Thanks for recommending them! If you have to limit it down to just 1 or two things though I would say you can’t go wrong with some classic fish n chips (with the sidewinders) and the clam chowder.

Our kids wanted fish and chips for dinner and we are so glad we found this hidden gem! Light, fresh, and delicious fish and chips right here in Beaverton so we don’t have to go to the coast to get our seafood fix. The owners were super nice and even cut up the fish and fried them into little fish nuggets so they were easier for our kids to share. Will definitely be back!
