Roxie’s Country Skillet

On vacation and really wanted to get a good breakfast. I was craving big fluffy pancakes and boy did they deliver! I also got a half order of biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage patties. The biscuits were perfectly toasted and the gravy was decent. I like my gravy with chunks of sausage, so I just chopped one patty up and put it on top. Nice, busy little place that was very inviting. Staff were very attentive, especially with the coffee refills. I would definitely go back for breakfast. Oops, I forgot | got one of the cinnamon rolls to go. I haven't tried it yet, but the server gave me a tip for heating it up at home.

This was our first time at Roxie's, and we enjoyed our meal. I ordered a cheeseburger it was thick, juicy, and delicious. My wife had eggs and hash browns and raved about how good they were. The atmosphere was bright and clean. The service was excellent!

Well, First of all. 0/10 Rueben that looks and tastes like it was cooked in straight oil and greese. Than instead of being kind and taking to obviously disgusting Rueben off , the waiter goes” Yeah it’s corn beef”. Like obviously we have had a Rueben before. We wouldn’t ask for something to be taken off a ticket ever. But no need to act like that’s how it was supposed to be cooked. Service rule #1, the customer is always right.

Ordered for pickup two biscuits and gravy ordered and a French toast was told 20 min and I could come and get it, loaded up my 1 year old son and drove over there arrived 30 minutes after placing my order and made me sit another 25 in the lobby to tell me my food wasn't even started yet... I understand being short staffed but just say if you served my food to another customer Cheryl was the woman who took the call I also understand she's new but it gets pretty restless with a toddler in a lobby when you expected to walk in pay and grab your food. If I wanted to sit I would've came in and ordered

Stopped in for lunch and WOW! The food was excellent the temperature was hot and the waitress made eye to eye contact and kept our coffee cup filled. Will definitely be back. Pleasantly surprised on a Saturday!!
