ROXIE'S BBQ & LOVER'S LEAP BAR

We stopped by Roxy’s BBQ for a late-night Sunday meal, and overall, the food was pretty good — definitely hit the spot for a last-minute dinner. The location is great with plenty of space, and the patio looks like it would be a perfect spot to sit when the weather cools down. What left us a little disappointed was the BBQ sauce. As any BBQ lover knows, the sauce can really make or break your meal, and unfortunately, Roxy’s only offered one option — a sweet sauce. We were hoping for something with a little more kick or variety. While we enjoyed the food (especially the Tahlequah Twinkie) and atmosphere, we still prefer Rib Crib for their wider selection of sauces and flavors.

The place itself was super nice and chill. Clean and easy to find. We went at about 5. We initially ordered pork and the beef rib. Both were out. No big deal, changed our order. After about fifteen minutes the waitress came back to say that they had ran out of ribs as well. Tried again a third time and actually got what we ordered. Not really what we wanted but what we ordered. The chopped brisket was ok. The turkey was super good. Sides were ok. The waitress was nice enough but didn’t really come around often. They were sort of busy but it seemed like we were sort of forgotten. The owner did come by and ask how we were. At the time we had not been through two rounds of having to change our order due to things being out. We would try again but without ever knowing when they will be out of

Majestic views, a great crew. I tried the Tahlequah twinkie and the bbq brisket sandwich. The food was amazing. 10 outta 10 we will definitely be back 🚣🏻‍♀️

Just found out about this place. We will definitely be back. The brisket is awesome! The smoked turkey breast was unbelievably moist and tender. They use a lot of black pepper which I love.

I was fortunate enough to dine at Roxie's BBQ Sunday. I met Tyler and Kim Wagers along with their son Hayden. Tyler is a 2nd generation Pitmaster who opened this long established BBQ restaurant in its new location in May of this year. You can find Roxie's BBQ 1.3 miles north of US Hwy 62 on OK Hwy 10 overlooking the Illinois river. You can't miss the place as it has a cliff behind it! Djuana Leedy Pennington and I started with a Tahlequah Twinkie and had the 3 meat combo. We made short work of the stuffed jalapeno. Our combo consisted of ribs, brisket and turkey.
