Blue Fern Bed and Breakfast

A beautiful home and furnishings. Monica made us feel welcome and right at home. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. Walkable to downtown. Wish we could have stayed longer!

I stayed here for a few nights with my mother during a cross country road trip. The house is beautiful and full of charm inside and out. Monica the host is a gem. You truly feel like you’ve found a little piece of heaven when you’re staying here. This place was without a doubt a highlight of our trip. So much so that I’ve remembered to come back and write a review 1.5 years later. I’d like to go back again!

We loved staying at the Blue Fern Bed & Breakfast. Monica was an excellent hostess on every level!! Monica made sure that our stay was exceptional!! She provided maps, tips, and wonderful breakfasts!! The house is beautifully decorated!! We had use of a lovely sun room, porch, deck and all. The town of Tahlequah in itself is great with excellent restaurants & other amenities!!

My husband and I share a birthday, so we always try to do something special. We are native Oklahomans, but had never travelled to Tahlequah, the Cherokee capital. I found this B&B on a travel site- when I called to make a reservation, I never dreamt that I would get two separate tests, prior to our visit- one asking if we wanted to set up a massage and another asking if we'd like to see a local Tahlequah Community Dinner Theatre. Yes to both!! The play was exceptional; we met some great folks at the same table. Our massage was superb. Monica, the host at the Blue Fern is a treasure. Her breakfasts were out of this world and she had a lot of suggestions for things to do. After browsing for years. We found the Blue Fern right about 2 years ago. And knew this was where we wanted to get married. On Saturday 3/30 @3:30 after 9 years together to the day. We finally made the next step into Forever! And we did it at the Blue Fern! 💙 David and Monica helped to make our 2 night stay and our elopement Magical. Thank you so much for caring about your guests like you do! 🥰 Seeing Monica Light up when she asks about how your room is or how everything was. When you tell her it's wonderful... The pure joy and excitement that she shows for what she does is Heart Warming. We had an amazing stay and wish we would be able to celebrate an anniversary there someday.
