Route 66 BBQ and Southern Kitchen

We came here for a couple's night out and we were blown away!! He got the Mac-Attack and I got the Buffalo Chicken Horseshoe! The owner greeted us and let me try a sample of the cheese, Mac n cheese, and the beef tips!! I am not big into BBQ at all BUUUUT this BBQ is so tender and melts in your mouth!! Whitney was our server and she was so patient and helpful!! Come, date night, family night, lunch.... just come so they stay!!!!!

The Cubano was delicious! Added mustard BBQ sauce! Chef’s special bone in pork chop was juicy and seasoned perfectly. French fries really good. We were just passing through on a long trip. If we lived here; we’d be regulars. Highly recommended…..

Let me paint you a picture with words. We decided to do a quick drive by and see what it looked like (judging a book by its cover). We missed it the first time. So after some debate we circled back. As we passed, it look closed, but there was a man behind the counter. Naturally we were apprehensive about stopping in what looks like a closed bbq joint only an hour before there listed close time. So we decided to call and just make sure. And lord am I glad we did. The owner answered the phone, and informed us that his wait staff had gone for the night but we could get take out. We told him that we were traveling for work and was just hungry. He said “come on in I’ll cook something for ya” it really made me feel like I was heading to papas house after a long day of work when he said that. The

Been here 3 times now. The food is great. Servers are very friendly. Owner is very friendly too. My favorite so far are the burnt ends - so tender & tasty.

Everything here is great and the wings are awesome
