Route 40 Diner

A good diner in the area with an extensive menu, good diner food, great service, typical diner atmosphere though Route 40 diner has a nice vibe and is clean with what appears to be new seating booths. Bathroom could be a bit updated and a tad cleaner ( though in better shape than many). And being located in a strip mall has ample and good parking. Prices are very reasonable. Overall... definitely a good place for a meal, especially if you are on the run and just want a place to sit relax and have a quick bite to eat. ( Or based on other patrons we saw...a place to meet up with friends over lunch and catch up etc).

This is a very nice diner. I get breakfast here and it is good. The staff is great. The MAIN reason to go here is to make a pilgrimage to see the Kenny Rogers Roasters mural they still have up! This location used to be a Kenny Rogers Roasters in the before times and they were smart enough to keep this mural! Someone needs to contact the national historic registry or whatever it is called to get this thing preserved for future generations

I got FOOD POSIONING from here because they served us UNDERCOOKED CHICKEN WINGS. We ordered chicken wings and split it. 2 out of the 10 were undercooked. We brought it to our waitresses attention (the owner's wife), she quickly snatched it and condescendingly asked us if we wanted another chicken wing. She then proceeds to talk bad about us to the other waitresses right in front of us. Another waitress that wasnt even our own, approaches us, and then proceeds to shove her phone to my face to show me what Google AI said about the chicken bone having blood discolorling is completely normal. The chicken bone was red and the meat closer to the bone was slimey. The owner comped us for the chicken wings after my partner complained. I showed the owner the second wing I found and he angrily snatc

Every time I visit Route 40 Diner. I'm treated like family, the staff from Owners, Management, and Servers make you feel at home enjoy a meal with loved ones. I highly recommend you to visit and enjoy a home cooked meal at good price.

If you like the classic diner feeling and delicious food and great service, this is the place for you. Everything on the menu that I've tried is delicious. The breakfast, lunch and dinner options are so vast and everything is really good. They have freshly made desserts too that are absolutely delicious that you must try before leaving. Everyone is so nice to my kids too. I really think this is a good family restaurant. Highly recommend!
