Bear Library

I had to use the computer to update my resume. The young lady that helped me to transfer my resume for free is the Best. We didn't realize that what she did worked. I'm so grateful and I checked out a nice book as well. Good time well spent in the library. It was time to go when this young girl's infant started crying. Not the place for a baby. So glad I completed what I came there for. Kudos 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙌🏾

I had a disappointing experience with one of the front desk staff. I’ve visited this library a few times, but this was my first time picking up books. I was with my 3-year-old and it wasn’t busy—no one was waiting in line. I simply walked toward the front desk to ask for help, and the staff member spoke to me very rudely for no reason. It made me feel really bad and sad, especially with my little one right beside me. This isn’t about all the employees, but that one interaction alone made me feel hesitant about using the facility, at least when I’m with my child. A library that welcomes families and young children, being kind is the least anyone can do, and I truly hope this can be improved. About the facility: Good library—quiet, peaceful. Clean, large library with decent amount of events going on. Woman wearing a ton of jewelry at the front desk that attended me was not friendly whatsoever and cut me off when I was speaking, which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Fails and refuses to address or protect it's patrons from racism. I was once a presenter at this library, I invested years of time and effort into their programs, I would host table top games which where open to the public, after I tried to make a complaint about one of the library patrons making racist comments to myself and another member they failed to address it, this went on for months with two separate people telling me they are going to take action against the racist person, all in the mean time the problematic person continued to cause issues, as well as making generally uncomfortable comments while in the games. The bear library claims to take safeguarding and the wellbeing of it's patrons seriously, but that is only surface deep as the management are too afraid to stick up for

Library is maintained very clean. Though it's in single floor, there are lot many collections and journals. Staff are very quick in response and are available incase if any information/help is needed. I especially loved the welcome mentioned in many languages including Indian sub-languages. There is separate Juvenile section for children.
