Opening Weekend at Roth’s Sea & Steak — Colorado Springs’ New Must-See Dined in during opening weekend and… wow. Roth’s Sea & Steak delivers the kind of high-class, upscale experience Colorado Springs has been waiting for—polished, welcoming, and unforgettable from the moment you walk in. The space feels intentionally elevated (without feeling stuffy), and the service? Impeccable. The team there is truly locked in. The biggest mic-drop? The views. Roth’s sits right at the edge/above the Ford Amphitheater, with sweeping sights of the Front Range—and depending on where you’re seated, you can even soak in the venue atmosphere in a way that feels uniquely Colorado Springs. It’s genuinely first-of-its-kind here: fine dining paired with breathtaking scenery and the energy of a world-class ente
Overall impressions: I'm not sure if it was just the night we went, but our meal seemed inconsistent. Everything was good but very little was standout. We had signed up for the Prix fix menu on February 13th before Valentine's. It was set at $175 per person. This isn't unusual for us and we've dined at many of the top restaurants around the country. However, the experience and food at Roths didn't seem to match that of other places with similar concepts and pricing. The food: Probably the best bite I had was the A5 wagyu tartare coronet to start the meal - it was balanced and perfectly seasoned. The next came milk bread, which was just okay, but they only have us one which felt awkward that we had to split the roll. That was followed by two pieces of nigiri. The fish was very fresh and ha
If you're looking for a dining experience that genuinely earns the word exceptional, Roth's Sea and Steak in Colorado Springs delivers on every level. From the moment we were seated, our server Kaeley set the tone for the entire evening. Attentive without being intrusive, warm without being performative. She struck that rare balance that makes you feel genuinely taken care of rather than just waited on. Josh, who assisted throughout the evening, knocked it out of the park as well. Together they made us feel like the only table in the room. The Chef's Journey tasting experience was nothing short of a masterpiece. Each course told a story, layering flavors with intention and care that you don't often encounter. It's clear that the kitchen isn't just cooking food; they're crafting an experi
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here, and the entire experience was incredible. The staff was so friendly and attentive, and every detail felt truly exquisite. We both ordered the 5 course Wagyu tasting and loved every part of it. They even surprised us with a bottle of Laurent-Perrier, and we ended the night with “milk & cookies” upstairs at the bar. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate. Can’t wait to come back! Enjoy the pics :)
Beautiful space, but falls short of Michelin-star expectations The venue itself is truly stunning -- elegant, thoughtfully designed, and atmospheric, with a gorgeous grand piano in the lobby adding to the sophisticated ambiance. Upon arrival (about 15 minutes early for our Saturday night reservation), we were greeted warmly and even escorted upstairs to the bar for pre-dinner drinks, which was a lovely touch. However, for a restaurant that positions itself at Michelin-star level and charges accordingly, both the food and service fell noticeably short of those expectations. I had called ahead to confirm the reservation and inquire about valet parking (which they do not offer -- worth noting for anyone planning a visit). The overall dining experience stretched over three hours, which felt ex
