I was very content with this place, on my first visit. When we arrived the place was just getting ready as the evening rush was starting. Despite being very busy, and being put on the waitlist, we were offered a place to sit within 30 seconds. We elected to sit at a community table, which is nothing more than sitting at a picnic table with strangers. This was okay and we barely acknowledged them as the table was fairly large. The food service is all handled via your cell phone. You will need to use a provided URL to place, and pay for your order. You can leave the tab open and close it when you are ready. The food was good, the service was fast and the outside gas heaters kept us quite warm and happy. I would gladly visit here again and again.

What a spot in Portola Valley! The Alpine Inn is a not so hidden beer garden gem. Highly recommend carpooling, because cars with four people are prioritized (otherwise the parking lot can get VERY full). And hey, if you have a horse, walk on in that way; they have hitching posts to tie up your steed. The heated beer garden patio is picnic-style tables with actual chairs. Some tables are on the deck boards while others are on wood chips. Well-behaved dogs are allowed, but not in the inside dining room. Inside, you have bar seating, booths, a long table, and a standing counter available. Each table is equipped with a QR code to view the menu and self-order. When your food or drink is ready, a member of the staff will bring over your order. Paper napkins are on the table, but cutlery, basic c

Had a nice brunch at this beer garden on a sunny Sunday morning. We came early so no problems with parking and seatings. Fast efficient service by the staff. Tasty burgers with exceptional thin crusted pizza. Next time we'd sat further away from the grill since the smoke caused my severe allergy attacks.

I’ve always wanted to eat here but haven’t done it for decades. Now I’ve been there twice within a month. The outdoor seating is perfect because it’s cooler and you can get a mix of shade/sun. The order method works great because you can finalize your drinks independently and then build consensus for the shared barbecue/pizza orders. I was tickled pink by the mix of diners here — corporate team-building, VC meet-ups, mommy & me get togethers, senior luncheon. The ribs/ sliders and pizzas were great. Tacos were also very good. The choices are great for sharing.

🍔 Fast Service and Highly Addictive Menu This legendary local landmark continues to be one of the best spots in the area for a casual, high-quality meal. One of the standout features of the experience is that the service is fast, especially considering the sheer volume of people they serve. They have a very streamlined system in place that ensures your food and drinks arrive at the table shortly after you hit "order." Speaking of ordering, a fair warning: the food is so tasty and the mobile ordering process is so seamless that you can get hooked on continuous ordering. It is very easy to find yourself saying "just one more round of fries" or "one more appetizer," so be careful or you might find yourself with a much larger feast than you originally intended! 🌲 A Great Vibe That Draws a Cro
