We should've known the food was no good as soon as we walked in... we weren't greeted once, the guy in the front just stared until we were ready to order. Nobody in here was friendly, we got our food drove home which is about 5-7 minutes and when we got home we started eating and the food was cold, not even warm. I ordered the chile verde fries and they were so nasty, really no flavor no green sauce. It just tasted like wet meat and the horchata tasted like dust same with the watermelon water, my husband did not like his burrito either nor my daughter he quesadilla. This was such a waste of money, waste of 50 bucks. We literally paid to feed our trash can, this food was just not edible it was so disgusting. Don't waste your time or money coming here. Terrible service, terrible food.

Update 4/15/25 I tried the ground beef enchiladas with no onions, due to my allergies, and they were fantastic! They are a little less spicy then the shredded beef enchiladas. I could eat at this place 7 days a week! 3/2025- Original post - My Dad found this place about a year ago and held out on me! Shame on him!! He decided to stop to stop off here knowing I love Mexican food. OMG, it's been a week and I cannot get this place out of my head. I'm craving it like CRAZY!! This place is one of those little hole in the wall. M y dad lives in a traveling trailer. He decided on night he wanted Mexican food. He went online to look up "Authentic Mexican food" and found "Rosie's". The photos showed a hole in the wall. That's what he wamted to try know thats where you find the gems. Boy did he!!

Like many other places the prices have went way up while the portions and quality go down. Their normal burritos were a good size, now they are the size of a baker’s burrito is the only way to describe. It just sucks when it was a place I bragged about before. Never go there for their carne asada. It’s atrocious, but that was always understood and almost everything else is good tasting. Don’t order carne asada, it’s just not their strongpoint even when it was great otherwise. Unfortunately they Mc mini sized their portions and Mc maximized the cost.

I love this place, I live in Orange County and I would drive 1 hour one way to eat here. The hot sauce is the best, when I first started eating here I only used half of the sauce now I need 2-3 per burrito. They used to put less meat in the burritos, I had to order with extra meat to be a good amount, now the portions are great. I like this location because is just of the freeway, not a lot of street driving. Thank you can not wait to eat here again.

WARNING: If you or your family have any food allergies or health concerns, AVOID this location at all costs! We went to Rosie’s in Calimesa this morning, and it was a nightmare experience. I clearly communicated to the cashier that we had multiple severe food allergies (dairy, egg, peanut, soy, corn) and needed our food cooked separately and safely. I repeated myself multiple times, emphasized the importance, and asked them to alert the kitchen. It was not busy at this location. We were the only ones placing our order. Despite this, they served my toddler a plate contaminated with eggs, dairy, and cheese — allergens that could have seriously harmed her. The cashier admitted she didn’t pass our allergy information to the kitchen, even after saying she understood how serious it was. No rea
