Rosie's Americana Cafe

We waited a considerable amount of time to have our order taken. The food too was very slow. We arrived at 11:45 am. Our food arrived an hour later! Yes, they were busy after we arrived,and our order was taken, not before. It was just okay, not great, by any means. Staff seemed to care for locals and men more than women ( she asked my husband several times if he was good, didn't even acknowledge that I was at the table. We did see several locals get up and leave today. So maybe it was just a really bad day.The reviews were really good. So we were really disappointed, to say the least.

We were looking for a quick late lunch and found Rosie's, and we are so glad we did! The food was tasty and desserts delectable. The atmosphere is a nice modern retro with great classics playing on the little jukebox. The service was very friendly as well. Price-wise, it's what you would expect in a small tourist town, but as mentioned previously, everything was delicious. We'll be back since Buffalo isn't too far for us, but if you're just visiting, definitely give it a go.

We were surprised to find so many gluten-free places in Buffalo! I had the blackened chicken, mac and cheese with gluten-free noodles and my husband had the pulled pork mac and cheese. The serving size was good because it was nice and rich and creamy and had the serving size been huge it would have been too much of a good thing. It was nice to have something different out for a change as a celiac. Cute little place with fast service!

It’s not often I feel compelled to write a review while I am eating. This place is wonderful. The food is delicious. Top shelf. The people who own and run it are, too. The chili is perfect. All three of agreed that it’s the best meal we have had this trip and we have been out for weeks.

Totally awesome 10 stars aren't enough. I love WW 2 memorabilia. I was born after, but my Daddy loved the old movies and I got addicted too. Jen helped me get some sweatshirts of Buffalo, Wyoming and promoted her fellow shops the way towns are supposed to. She had candy from my childhood. Wax lips, Pixie Sticks, etc . I want to live in this place.
