Customer Reviews
Rosewood Grill is a very elegant looking restaurant. With food that matches with both an excellent dinner and brunch service. Highlights of brunch include the monkey bread which is a must do but be warned it does have limited availability. Also the Cleveland Hash is very good as well. Drinks here are pretty well balanced they do tend to lean a little sweet though. But the service is exceptional the servers here really take care of the tables. Plates as soon as you are done leave the table. You rarely see a dirty dish sitting for long. I will say this place is kind of hidden away being in the basement of a building. There was no wait for us when we was here. There was also plenty of parking with its own dedicated parking lot.
I want to express my sincerest compliments to the entire staff here. From start to finish, everything was phenomenal for my wife's birthday dinner. Our server, Gabby, was excellent and funny and told us about their amazing specials. My wife had their shrimp appetizer when she said was superb as well as the lobster bisque for starters. For our main course, she had the double lobster tails (one of their specials) and I had the Delmonico steak which just melted in my mouth. The chef cooked it perfectly to just a hint below medium. We also had cocktails which came out with an amazing presentation. To top it all off, Gabby brought my out a homemade brownie that was divine. Now she wants to go here every year for her birthday. Kudos to the staff again-- we will be back!
Went to dinner for Valentine’s Day, first time trying rosewood. Our waitress Mia was so sweet and knowledgeable of the menu and this rating has nothing to do with her as she was wonderful! … I’m beyond disappointed with the food! Way overpriced for BLAND food with small portions! I felt like I was eating a meal at a nursing home and I might as well have visited my grandmother and done just that because whoever the chef is, cooks as if everyone is watching their sodium. I’ve seen 1 star reviews for this place back 4+ years speaking of BLAND food and poor cooking and serving sizes… so when will you be getting a GOOD chef?? Seems like you just reply with the same copy and pasted response to poor reviews stating how you care and to email whoever.. blah blah blah.. maybe just.. take the critici
Service was fantastic—friendly and helpful; had knowledge of the menu. Atmosphere was nice but very loud. You have to be loud when you are talking so the other person can hear you. The food was good but not great. For the price I expected more. The filet was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor. The mashed potatoes were ok but nothing special; not much flavor. The prime rib was tough. We couldn’t even cut it and I was sawing at it with all my strength. They did allow us to get something else. The dessert was really good. Portion sizes are good. Overall I liked it but probably won’t go back. For the price I rather have Texas Roadhouse. They have more sides to pick from and the food has flavor.
For peasants like myself, this is a special occasion location! We actually were gifted a gift card from family, and finally enjoyed a date night. The vibe of the place is fantastic, and the service is wonderful. The food is AMAZING! My fiancé and I each enjoyed a cocktail, a small main dish and a side (came to just over $100, so again, a specialty place unless you make better money than us, but if you can swing it, do it!). We raved about the food for the rest of the evening! Cocktails: blood orange sangria and a tropical mule Food: seasonal kale salad with added salmon, side of chili glazed Brussels sprouts; Au Jus sandwich with rosemary fries and a side of lobster mashed potatoes. All incredible.
