Roseberry House Bed & Breakfast

This house was absolutely incredible, I love that the owners have kept it pretty well period specific. The atmosphere was cozy and delightful. Dan took such good care of us after our long day of traveling. He was kind, patient and inviting. Also very enthusiastic about the upcoming projects they have planned for the house. He made us breakfast in the morning and that was next level! We will definitely be recommending the Roseberry House to our friends and we hope to stay there again!

The new owner that we met, Daniel , told us the history of the home and about how he and his partner Sarah have recently taken ownership and really cleaned up the place. The inside of the Inn is thoughtfully decorated and very clean. We booked late in the day from our road trip. We were greeted by Misty, an assistant, who showed us to our room and all around. She said”wine and beer are in the fridge, help yourselves. “ After a long day of driving and hiking this was very welcomed. The Inn is clean, the room was beautiful and the bed comfy. Our shower was great, and there is a well working coffee maker in the room. They let you choose what time you want for breakfast. We were greeted in the morning at a lively table for breakfast. It was delicious! The owner was even able to accommodate

We were in Susanville for 3 nights and are so glad we picked this lovely B&B instead of the uninviting motel/hotels we saw once we got there. Upon arriving, a deer was in the front yard to great us. :) Daniel was a star... we couldn't believe what a chef he was! Each breakfast seemed gourmet and served on beautiful old china, including porcelain tea and coffee pots. There were two tables inside and one table outside... our favorite was outside listening to the birds and watching the deer play in the yard. ||Every room was charming and very clean. The back yard boasts a beautiful herb/vegetable and flower garden, picnic tables, and even a tree house! (Although that wasn't complete yet.) We had a really comfy cozy stay in this beautiful Victorian house. The home cooked breakfast was spectacular! Very quiet and clean. Lovely welcoming hosts. We will definitely be staying here again as the stopover point for our annual road trip to Reno.

My husband, my 95 year old mother and I were on our way to Olympic Valley California from Bend OR and needed a stop on the way. We stayed in a room that had a separate alcove with a single bed for my mom. The beds were comfortable. The space worked out well. The morning breakfast was fabulous. The owner came and went, which was fine with us as we didn't need anything more. His dinner restaurant recommendation was perfect for that evening.
