Rooted Yakima Valley

Rooted is a gem in Yakima. The interior is a thoughtfully designed, beautiful space with a brick interior and an ornate ceiling. The cafe bleeds warmth. The barista and staff were super kind, taking the time to connect authentically. The food was exceptional. I ordered the pear salad, and it was delicious and generous. Highly recommended!

Rooted is such a fun space. There are a lot of beverage options - fun wine-based cocktails, unique craft beer that isn’t normally served on draft around Yakima, and some tasty N/A beverages (like their hop pops!). I’ve had a kale salad and a focaccia sandwich and they both tasted GREAT. The staff is super friendly, too. The vibe is casual & fun & colorful!

Really great gem in downtown Yakima, never intended to stop inside but found myself in this relaxed and comfortable spot to spend the rest of the night with my family. We had to leave North town coffee shop due to them closing at 6pm, which we had no problem with. But wanting to spend more time and no place to go insight we spotted (to our surprise) an open Business around the corner on a weekend night. Never ordered food, but yet when we asked if we could set up shop to finish the night as a family, we were allowed to sit at a table. Very nice considering we had two babies and didn’t want to walk/ drive to another spot in very cold weather. Will give a try with my family/ friends next time and suggest that you should as well. This place is amazing! Staff kind, yummy food and drinks. A little hidden gem in yakima!

Looooved the atmosphere here. Uplifting and such a cool owner. The food was delicious as were the drinks. Highly recommend the nachos.
