We truly cannot say enough good things about Rooster’s Eatery. We’re consistent regulars, and every single time the food is spot on. The breakfast burritos are incredible, and their green chili is some of the best we’ve ever had, flavorful, rich, and perfectly balanced every time. Lately, our new favorite lunch item is the adobo chicken burrito smothered, absolutely delicious. What we appreciate most is the consistency. No matter when we come in, it’s always fresh, always satisfying, and clearly made with care. We also love supporting such a great local family. They work hard, they’re welcoming, and they are so deserving of this community’s support. Mancos is lucky to have them.
Excellent breakfast burritos! Their chorizo breakfast burrito is absolutely delicious, something about their chorizo is especially fragrant and somewhat sweet (and spicy!) Love that you get a choice of the heat for the green chiles, lets you know they are fresh and not canned. Also, their ‘small’ burrito size is very substantial. Small doesn’t give it credit :)
I meant to leave this review 3 months ago when I passed by in a road trip. A 2 month long road trip that took me 14,000 miles across the country. And guys when I tell you, these were the VERY best tacos I had anywhere in the country, I mean it. I finished my full order and proceeded to immediately order another set of 4 because it was just insanely delicious. I regret not living in this state because I genuinely wish I had access to these tacos again. The staff here are so sweet and kind. The chef/mom made those tacos like a truly homemade meal. I’ll never forget this place for the rest of my days. Best wishes folks!
Been meaning to try this place for a while and finally did. It was our first, but wont be our last trip there. I had the biscuits and gravy and the wife had a burrito. The biscuit was definitely homemade. This biscuit wasn't the fluffiest I've ever had, but it worked and paired perfectly with the from scratch sausage gravy. The home fries with just a dash of paprika were excellent as well. The meal also came with 2 links of sausage. The wife had a burrito and I cant say much about how it tasted, because she ate it all. The only thing she kept saying was "this thing is huge", and she ordered a small.
My fiancé and I stopped by before hitting the road. Such a cute place and good food. Nothing wild or crazy about the menu but solid choices, was filling and tasted good. Friendly service and the prices were phenomenal. I got a bagel breakfast sandwich with two eggs, bacon and cheese for $8.
