Ronnie 2 Sushi

My wife, daughter, son-in-law, and I visited Ronnie 2 for lunch on a Wednesday.. This is one the kids' favorite spots in Anchorage and they wanted to share the experience with us.. Service was fast and friendly.. Their lunch menu is straight forward and offers a great variety.. Among us, we sampled the Hawaiian roll, teriyaki chicken, tempura shrimp, and Yakiniku beef.. Servings of miso soup, rice noodles, and a small salad were offered prior to our lunch dishes and each were quite tasty.. I enjoyed the Yakiniku beef with tempura shrimp and rice.. Each dish had lightly breaded and fried sliced vegetables (potato, sweet potato, and zucchini) with them and my wife's teriyaki chicken also offered a pair of pork dumplings.. All of the food was delivered to the table hot, fresh, and flavor

Ronnie's is one of my go-to sushi restaurants. They have so much variety, and the service is always on point. I have never had a bad experience here and always leave full, happy, and with leftovers for later.

We were here for the first time and we will not go back. We were waiting for our order and during this time the waiter often came up and asked if we were ready to order and he did so 3 times in 5 minutes. In addition, we had a table in the corner and in the aisle at the same time. I was sitting in the aisle, taking up half of it, and the waiters, when they ran, caught on our chairs. The water they served initially smelled of chlorine. The wooden chopsticks they brought were not packaged, and they put them on the table (which was clearly not super clean). At the end, they brought the bill and automatically indicated a 15% tip. Are you serious? For what? For such service? Well, you did not understand this, so I am writing here for everyone.
