Customer Reviews
On a busy Friday evening, we took our chances and arrived at 5:30 PM, managing to secure what appeared to be the last open table for two. My advice? Book a reservation to be safe. Our experience was elevated by the fantastic service; our host was incredibly attentive and made sure we were well looked after all evening. We started with a non-alcoholic drink from the bartender (a little sugary for my taste, but might suit others well). My dining partner and I shared a few plates. The Pork Milanese, while a little salty on its own, was delicious with the gravy and was served with some truly amazing mashed potatoes. Roger's Homemade Pasta with Shrimp was another winning dish. The only sour note was the Rotating Fruit Crisp, which we found had a gritty texture that didn't work for us. But don't
Excellent dinner and service tonight at Roger’s, of course it wasn’t our first visit but it has been awhile since we’ve been in. My husband ordered the ribeye, I had the pork milanese and we shared the clams. For dessert they had a creme brûlée on special with vanilla beans and we also had key lime pie. Everything was delicious and we have leftovers as well. The real reason I’m writing this review though after so many good meals at Roger’s in the past is the excellent service we received from our server Amanda. She was so attentive, genuine, friendly and overall amazing. Thanks for a great dining experience Amanda!
Wish I knew about this place sooner. What a gem! I am a salmon snob, but I had to try it here. This was excellent, where it had to be fresh in order for it to be fall apart moist! I've had salmon at more expensive joints that were nothing like this fabulous dish. The portion size was quite large. Hubby had the lovely scallops special. Dinner was paired with Chef's fav Portlandia 2021 red wine. Both dishes were so wonderfully seasoned that we scraped all the sauces with our veggies. Veggies were crunchy and cooked just enough to not have that dry raw taste. You must have the chocolate fondue. We are excited to come back for the lamb and steak. Atmosphere is cozy. Bar is noisy if you like that atmosphere. We will try the back outdoor deck soon. Bartender is nice if you can strike up a conver
Are first time going there and such and amazing historic building. The was amazing and food was super delicious.
Roger’s has been my all time favorite restaurant for years. Every time I go there, it’s perfection. Honorable mention to the clams, steak, and fondue. Their wine selection also never disappoints.
