Stopped in today for the first time while in Ottumwa. Had a great homemade meal and some great ice cream! Today they had homemade Ham Balls and they were fantastic! They have many short order menu items but they also have a different homemade meal each day of the week. Today was Ham Balls and, again, they were really good. I want to come back sometime for the Chicken & Noodles! My Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae was really fantastic, too. I will definitely get that again, too. We'll be back!

Very busy drive thru on a Wednesday evening. We chose to dine indoors small area but no problem getting a seat. Ordered the tenderloin as I have been on a mission to try tenderloin from all different restaurants this trip. Tenderloin was a decent size. Not dry at all. Breading was nothing fancy. Pretty good overall. Saved room for dessert since it seemed like icecream was their big seller. It did not disappoint.

Friendly service with an old time feel to the place. Good selection of food and ice cream and it didn't take long to make it to our table. Only thing missing would be a jukebox to make this place complete.

The staff is very friendly and professional. My son and I started with the Raceway, which was just so much fun for us. Then we headed inside to look at the menu, great selection. We got our items brought out to us in no time. While enjoying our ice cream we decided to do the go-karts again. Lmao was a blast and will return on the future.

This place is a diamond in itself. If you’re looking for great comfort food not just the fried menu but they make from scratch also. Try their chicken and noodles so amazing tastes like my grandmas. Ice cream is full of flavor and they don’t go cheap on the toppings. Me and my kids love this place super friendly service also and always with a smile
