I’m upset that I didn’t get a picture of the food , just means I’ll have to come back . Anyways … it’s definitely a family oriented restaurant. The hostess Ms.Doris very very NICE!!! I loved her spirit . She came sat with us told us some stories . Now let’s get to the food . I had turkey wings with gravy , potato salad, black eye peas and corn bread . My date had fried catfish , black eye peas and collard greens with cornbread . The portion sizes are HUGE !!! The food took some time to come out which was ok with us bc that gave us time to converse with Ms. Doris . The restaurant is a history lesson in its self.

The food is soooo good. I swear somebody’s southern grandmomma is hiding in the kitchen. Mac n cheese is to die for, the greens are tasty and seasoned perfect. The cornbread is sweet and yummy!!!!!! 4 southern ladies on our little road trip, ready to take a nap after the amount of food we were served. Lordddddd lay your hands on this place and let it flourish. If you haven’t been there, GO!

We found this excellent family owned restaurant after traveling through New Jersey on our way home. If you are looking for a relaxed environment and excellent, home cooked healthy dishes and favorites prepared and served like your family would stop here. The owners treated us like family and fed us like we were too! Portion sizes were more than adequate and take- home boxes were required! Do yourself a favor and stop in for authentic, full ribs and BBQ. ** Notice how meaty the ribs are in the picture. The plate had more of them that were eaten.

I've been coming here for a few years now and I have never been disappointed! Weekday or weekends there's always something delicious to be tried. The staff is very friendly and professional...the food...OMG...the food is EXCELLENT!! I try to order something different each time but the fried chicken and the beef ribs are my favorite!! They offer live music on some nights...very classy. The restaurant is very clean and tastefully decorated too...plenty of seating. You have to give them a try..you will not be disappointed!!

The food I got was absolutely amazing, everyone was very nice, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The brisket sandwich was melt in your mouth, and the fries were seasoned really well. The wait was kinda long, but definitely worth the wait. I will definitely be back.
