Roadside Restaurant

We always get great service and wonderful food at Roadside! Breakfast today was such a treat! It’s all so good! Super fresh, gooey, soft, loaded caramel roll, wild rice omelet and country fried steak n eggs with extra gravy. So nice, they even leave the coffee carafe on the table for ya. Special thanks to the great cooks and fun waitstaff that always make you laugh! Friendly service and fantastic food at a great price! I was even impressed with the cleanliness and style of the restrooms.

If you’re googling places to stop off 169 for a breakfast en route to the cabin or on your way home— stop looking! You found THE ONE! Our breakfast was incredible. Pancakes bigger than the plates, perfectly cooked eggs, just enough variety to have options but not be overwhelmed. Super kind service, unlimited coffee. Our kids immediately asked if we could come back next summer- total win!

This is our first stop for our golf group on our way to our golf trip vacation each year. Each year we come thru the service is fantastic. It's been the same waitress each time very friendly and talkative. The food is great. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food and what you get. When they say the pancakes are big, they are not lying. Don't forget to try some of the homemade desserts if they have them. The cinnamon or Carmel rolls are amazing. I'm looking forward to the next time we stop in for breakfast. Never a disappointment when we stop. Even the locals who are sitting for coffee in the morning are easy to talk to.

Came here at 830 pm when they were open till 9pm. We already knew what we were going to order. Sat down and waited. No one came. My husband walked around to the kitchen, and around to the sides, but saw no one. Then we left. As we left the parking lot we finally saw someone walking around in the restaurant. I took these pictures, enjoy. My dad loves coming here for the caramel rolls, so I will come back, but I was disappointed that I had to go elsewhere. Went to eat at the 40 Club again.
