Rix's Tavern

So, on Friday night, we walked from our hotel to Rixs. They had this cool menu where you could order burgers, steak, or chicken, but the catch was, you had to cook it yourself! Can you believe that? The bartender, Carol, was super chill. She was like, "Hey, grab a drink first, then take it over to the grill and cook your food." It was so much fun! We saw this group in front of us who weren't into the whole cooking thing, so they just left. But we were all about it! They brought out our burgers, and we started grilling them up. They had all the fixings and seasonings, so we went wild and it was such a fun experience. The locals were super friendly, Dakota made delicious drinks, the music was great, and people playing pool. The vibes at Rixs were definitely on point, and we'll for sure be go

Carol makes a great Bloody Mary. You get to cook your own steak!!! Hot damn... good stop off with cold beer!

Didn't feel like waiting at another restaurant so come upon this one. Well.......it was a cook your own steak, burger, etc. Sides were choice of bland baked beans salad bar was a bit light on amounts. Texas toast, baked potato came with steaks. Price was great! Of course we did all the cooking 🤣🤣🤣. I would still recommend for the experience and the laughs.

Stopped in for a beer after reading the awesome reviews. Friendly folks, great pool tables, bar, and a TV. I wish we were hungry to try a steak or burger!

Pool bar with a "U-Cook-Em" menu. Salad bar and beans come with the meal. The bartender was so sweet. Obviously a locals place. It was a fun experience to try.
