Riviera maya restaurant

We ate here last weekend and had a great experience. I got the burrito bandera (and a few bites of my bf’s chimichanga) and both were excellent. They brought out complimentary chips and salsa, and the salsa was amazing — it tasted like it was made fresh from scratch. The restaurant is also decorated really nicely and has a great atmosphere. Our server was very friendly (I wish I had caught her name). The portion sizes were also bigger than I expected, which is always a plus. We were too full to try the dessert but that gives us a reason to come back next time.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Unfortunately, my food was gone before I knew it due to the incredible music… seemed that my hand fed my mouth to the beat of the music and it was over before I knew it. If I lived closer than NC I would definitely visit more often. WOW!!

Great little Mexican restaurant in the heart of Pottsvile. Such a find! My wife and I were delighted. Delicious and fun. And I'm picky about Mexican food, partly because I make it myself and partly because I've lived in California.

Went on a whim in how of good Mexican food and I was not let down. The guacamole was delicious. For a main, I got the salmon which was superb, very moist with a very crunchy skin. The shrimp with a mango salsa on top were a great touch.

You would think for a Mexican restaurant, the food would be flavorful and spicy. The salsa looked and tasted like a creamy tomato soup. The guacamole was supposed to have onion and jalapenos, but neither flavors were found. The chimichanga with spicy chicken wasn't spicy but the green sauce was. The pork enchiladas were bland with some type of 2 cheese sauces but no enchilada sauce. The biggest disappointment was the slowness of service after being seated. 10 to 15 minutes before asking if we needed drinks and another 10 minutes for our to-go box. With only a handful of people as patrons, service should have been much quicker.
