River City Grill & Pub

Not a bad experience overall. Small little restaurant nestled against the river. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was subpar and lacked flavor. Dinner rolls were hard and dry. Overall decent but needs some work on the food.

My husband ordered a steak dinner medium rare with a baked potato. Picture is of the baked potato. Our server did not seem concerned/apologetic when he said that it was hard and overcooked. He asked for replacement fries. His steak was actually well done instead of medium rare. He did not even eat half of the steak. I had a cheesesteak. It was bland. The atmosphere: stuffy/warm and a patron at another table was watching a show on her phone with the volume turned up loud enough to disturb us two tables away. Our experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. We rated the waitress as a three as she had no control over the kitchen but she could have handled making the order correct better. No refills on drinks and my husband's drink was incorrect to begin with. I would definitel

A beautiful patio, a friendly server, and some fried seafood. The food was good but not outstanding, with few healthy entree options. The cole slaw was sweet without any tanginess. But it was all ok and the patio was worth it! Dog friendly too.

I love the bartender, she’s always on top of refilling my drinks without me asking. She’s friendly, shes fun and joins us playing pool, and still does her job efficiently. She deserves a raise honestly and makes the place a lot more fun.

Disappointed.. We wanted to try something new for once and honestly it was awful. The food was bad, the service was bad, bathrooms were nasty, the floors were nasty, the window seals were nasty. BBQ was awful so I ordered a chicken sandwich instead, that was awful too because it was still pink on the inside, even the lettuce & pickles were awful. I mean if someone can’t take the time to fix these issues, the place needs shut down before someone gets sick. Be more sanitary, find a new waitress that actually wants to interact with people, and make sure the food is actually good and cooked well before letting others eat it. Thanks, won’t be returning.
