Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

They pissed me off. They really thought it was funny that my pregnant daughter found hair in her cup. I am trying to do everything to keep my sanity.

Went to this location the other day and waited at the window for 10 minutes and no one came over. Three employees were standing around, I guess hoping I would just leave, which I did. Disappointed, the kids were looking forward to it.

Best dessert is the mango gelati, my all time favorite. The sundae was a hit for my daughter. Perfect on a nice sunny day, with the outdoor tables. The concrete strawberry shortcake is must! My daughter got a kick out of the unicorn with unicorn sparkle gelati.

The texture of frozen custard at this location is the absolute thickest and best I've ever had! Unfortunately the location is besides a highway, and it's walk-up only. Very little ambiance. The lights outside also weren't on, which made it hard to view the menu.

Rita’s Water Ice really hits the spot, especially on a hot day. Their Italian ice is smooth, packed with flavor, and seriously refreshing. I always go for mango or cherry, but they have so many choices it’s hard to pick just one. I also love their soft serve! It’s super creamy, and the Gelati, which layers the ice and custard together, is the best of both worlds. The staff is usually friendly and fast, and the prices are fair for what you get. Every time I go, I leave happy and am already looking forward to my next visit.
