I don't know why but I haven't been to Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard in such a long time; it's in my town too. Everything I've had over the years has always tasted fantastic. I'll come around a lot more, it is great. Stopped by recently for a Pop Rocket Ice with the 5-layer Gelati; maybe the flavor was out with the pop rockets. The 5-layer was still delicious with the grape.
We visited Rita’s yesterday in North Arlington for the first time, and unfortunately it will also be our last. My 4-year-old needed to use the restroom, and despite us being paying customers, the staff at the counter refused to let him. They explained it was for employees only. While I can understand having a policy, I feel exceptions should be made in certain situations especially when it comes to young children.
The place is super nice. The employees are very friendly. Their Italian ice is super fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

The Swedish fish gelati was great. Andrea was a great cashier and she was very patient with taking my order. Overall 10/10 customer service, Italian ice, and ice cream
