Tried CALOS Restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick. The food was delicious—we really loved the mac and cheese balls and the pasta. The flavored mango lemonade was refreshing and very tasty. Prices are moderate, and the ambience is pleasant—simple, not too fancy, but the food quality truly stood out. School teachers receive an additional 10% discount, which is a nice touch. Parking is limited. Overall, it was a very nice experience, and we’d love to visit again with family to try more dishes.
Gluten free fried shrimp, calamari, birria tacos and cheesecake. Separate fryer so celiac safe!! The literal best calamari I’ve ever had. Flavor was phenomenal. 10/10 would recommend.
The food is amazing and so many things to choose from! Decently priced and the owner is very kind. I found my new comfort food spot. I ordered birria tacos and empanadas..delicious!!
I have only been to this place three times in total thus far and each time I have I have been amazed by the quality of the food. The grilled chicken sandwich was fantastic and the next day I had ordered a parmesan sandwich that was also amazing. Recently I had ordered a 1/2 pound worth of chicken and two sides and it was phenomenal. [ The total weight of the chicken was 3 pounds which they sell in 1/4 as well. It is served as chicken legs and such]. The drinks vary but I find myself coming for their lemonade drinks which come in different flavors my favorite being Strawberry so far! But the Peach and Mango that I tried so far are also great! Then today I had the privilege of having their cheesecake and its was good! 8/10 for that. This is hands down the best restaurant in the area. The quality of the food is outstanding and the owners love and passion translates into the dishes. I highly recommend. Pro tip: if you’re there for brunch on Sunday. Ask them to make the candied bacon for you. It’s not on the menu. Tell them Tony sent you
