Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

I absolutely love Rita's Frozen Custard there isn't one near where I live in Richmond so I never miss an opportunity to stop by when I'm near a Rita's! The custard was as usual perfect and the staff was awesome really nice folks.

Our visit at Rita's Italian Ice was a good one. We were the first customers of the day. We ordered our treats and sat outside. Our order was ready fairly quick. The cashier was so patient with us. We decided to sit at the outside tables.

Ritas was ordered and served at our wedding at the James River Country club on 8-12! It was perfect. Rita’s was our first date so it was great to have it at our wedding. Coordinating the order was an easy process. I was able to discuss all the details with the manager via email about the date, guest count, different Italian ice amounts and what would be best based on our guest list. The prices were pretty decent, and did include the cups and spoons. However, I did notice the prices are increased a bit compared to just Googling the party packs online. But they were worth it! We had plenty to serve. There were so many flavors to choose from, it truly was hard to narrow down! Every guest commented saying it was perfect to eat during cocktail hour after the hot wedding ceremony on the beach

I would normally give this 5 stars because the Italian ice is the best I have ever had in my life!! So delicious and they put real fruit in them! Unfortunately the kids they hire to take your order are very unfriendly and don't act like they want to be there or help you.. sucks it ruins the experience

My pups and I absolutely enjoy going to Rita’s. Our empty cups in the picture should tell you all you need to know, but if it doesn’t then let me tell you… it’s DELICIOUS! They have many different flavor options and treat styles to choose from while also offering small pup cups of vanilla custard for our furry friends for a very small price! So, as you can imagine it’s also a dog friendly location!
