Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

I recently hosted a 90th birthday party at Kutztown Rita’s, and it was wonderful! The private room was the perfect size for our gathering. The owner was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make our experience even better. The staff was also very kind and accommodating. Overall, it was such a pleasant experience, and I would absolutely rent the party room again for future events. Thank you!

Good spot for college students since it’s the closest restaurant to campus. They do fundraisers here which is nice. Lots of seating and friendly staff. They have their own parking lot too which is nice.

Always love some Italian ice, but the wait is insane every time I go there is only 1 or 2 people working and the line wraps around to the parking lot and they take too long to service. Sometime I will be waiting in line for more than 45 min.

I've gone two or three times since this Rita's location opened. They have indoor seating, and they're the first Rita's I've personally seen with it (other than mall locations). Due to that fact, they're gonna be open until the day before Thanksgiving rather than the end of September like other locations. They have a good amount of flavors, and a lot of custard flavors too. The staff and owner are friendly and kind. I believe there might be a party room here too. My husband has ordered the frozen pumpkin coffee both times we've been together, and he says it's much better than Dunkin. It's closer to the Kutztown University campus, too, so it's more convenient for him to get coffee here. Plus, we get rewards each time with the app, and I got a free small ice on my birthday.
