Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Love Rita's they are close to me and I enjoy their butter pecan custard yummy.

Someone needs to train their workers line control. There were four of us in line. After the girl in the first window waited on the first three, she closed the window in my face and left me and two customers standing there. At the next window, the girl decided to wait on a customer that just walked up to the window. When I tried to explain to her what was going on, she just looked at me with a blank stir. The other customers behind me left. I thought that the two employees were rude and unprofessional. I thought that she was also condescending when she apologized to the other customers and not me.

4 stars because although the custard was good, the "real" cherries aren't ... good or real. They're Maraschino cherries. Wiki Maraschino cherries and you'll be aghast at what you learn about them. Pure poison. Yes, that's a Peterbilt dash in the background. Don't try getting into the parking lot. Park along the curb with flashers on and you should be okay for a bit. I wasn't chased off for the hour or so I was there. Give me a thumbs up if you're a fellow traveler. :-)

I can only relate my experience with their Italian ice, but it's the best around. They have lots of great flavors, now including sugar free options, and you can taste anything before buying. Smooth and a fine texture, and never tastes processed.

Stopped to get my dog an ice cream after he went to the vet. I love Rita's, but also love that they make it special for my furbabies!
