Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Amazing custard, but really overpriced considering how little they gave me in my large cup. The serving I got should have been $3.99 and they charged me almost $9 after tax. I feel that it is worth the price, but definitely wouldn’t get Rita’s on a regular basis since they are very expensive. I have money, so I don’t mind paying extra for better quality.

The frozen custard was awful. We got strawberry custard and it was vanilla with something red mixed in but tasted nothing like strawberry. My husband got vanilla and he said it tasted like no vanilla he had ever tasted before. We had been Rita's customers since they first opened years ago but we will not be returning. The dog wouldn't even eat the vanilla. Very disappointing for the cost! I wouldn't even return for free!

This place is just the best. Nothing like the custard and flavored ice combinations to cool you down on a hot summer day. They don't open till 3pm on Saturday, and you can expect to wait in line for a while (10-20 minutes).

Kids working here are slow as a rock. Asked for sprinkles twice didn’t get them on my ice cream. Then they don't know how to put custard on top of the ice. It's so messy.
