Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

I’ve been a Rita’s customer for years, and the difference in quality compared to a few years ago is honestly shocking. Rita’s used to have a smooth, soft texture with strong, refreshing flavor. One of the things that made it stand out was the real fruit pieces mixed throughout the water ice. Unfortunately, what I had today was nothing like what Rita’s used to serve. The texture was extremely frozen and icy instead of smooth, the flavor was noticeably weaker, and I couldn’t find a single piece of real fruit in it. Got here a few minutes after they closed but the young ladies who work here, Especially Victoria are really awesome!

This Rita’s is extremely slow. I hate to be that guy but stood in line for 13min and watched the line not move at all. The same customers were being helped for the entire time. The workers have zero urgency and move as if they don’t care. It doesn’t take 15 min to squirt water ice in a cup. It’s not too complicated of a job. Looked like it was no manager in site either. Ridiculous

Main problem is lack of variety of water ice. Many times they had no chocolate. To me, a staple. Often only 5 or 6 flavors. Location in Rockledge far, far superior

The staff is very nice but they never have anything I want when I go here. And I don’t ask for anything complicated, just twist yogurt or pretzels. They are also grossly overpriced so you might as well go to a specialty ice cream shop
