I’ve never actually stepped foot inside this restaurant, but at this point I don’t need to. This is my fourth—maybe fifth—online order in just three weeks, and I keep coming back for one reason: this lobster ravioli has yet to fail me. The consistency alone deserves applause. Every single time, the dish shows up exactly the same… perfectly cooked, rich, and full of authentic flavor. From the very first bite, you can actually taste the lobster in the ravioli, not just a hint or suggestion, but real, buttery lobster flavor. And the creamy crab tomato sauce? Unreal. This isn’t one of those sauces where you’re hunting for tiny shredded pieces of crab. No. These are big-boy crab chunks—full, white flakes of meat you can see and taste in every bite. Le Onde is truly the hidden gem of Elkins Park! Their pasta is perfection and they always have enticing specials. And even though it’s a smaller restaurant, they were able to accommodate 10 people for my husband’s birthday. I highly recommend Le Onde to anyone who wants an authentic taste of Italy without getting on a plane!

My husband and I love coming to Le Onde for our special date nights—it’s our go-to spot for a fancy evening out. The best part is that it’s BYOB, so we can bring our favorite wine and really make the night our own. The food here is incredible. The seafood is always super fresh, and they serve full lobsters, which is such a treat! Every dish we’ve tried has been delicious, but we always look forward to the fresh, flavorful seafood. Plus, they start you off with fresh, warm bread as soon as you sit down, which is always a nice touch and gets the meal off to a great start. And I can’t forget to mention the dessert—it’s honestly the best dessert I’ve ever had! Perfectly sweet and the ideal ending to a perfect meal. Entree choices were limited to pasta specialties. They did have pasta with meat or fish specialties but we didn't want pasta. In all fairness we did not know it was a pasta restaurant as we went with friends who recommended it. Because we don't eat meat we ordered the fish of the day, Bronzino which was the only fish entree on the menu. It was too salty and expensive. It was served with a selection of vegetables which were good. We had a seafood salad appetizer which was comprised of shrimp, calamari, mussles and I believe clams. It was good and enough for two people to split. Dessert was just okay. Would not go back there.
