Rio Grande Tex Mex Grill

Decent enough Mexican place. The atmosphere isn’t too bad, definitely Mexican themed with a splash of Texas. It’s not a traditional restaurant, you order at the counter and pay and then they bring it out to you. Their margaritas are decent enough and the Utica club is cold. Their chips and salsa are also pretty good, and it’s all you can eat, you just gotta grab them for yourself.

our family hosted a gathering to celebrate both Thanksgiving and Christmas and my father had this team cater it for us. we were so pleased with the whole experience front to back! easy to work with and delicious meal! the portions were also so generous! we enjoyed a breakfast taco bar the next morning as well!

I’ve had difficulties for many years trying to find a Mexican place that I can consistently get what I got the first time I really enjoyed it. Simple, intimate, casual, free self serving chips and dips and water. I’m a simple order of tacos, soft shell or hard….always good. My fav place with very reasonable prices.

A small, hole-in-the-wall place with good border-inspired food at good prices. I'm more familiar with Northern NM style, but my wife (from El Paso) says it very much reminds her more of the style she grew up with. Well worth giving a try.

Don't know what to order? Try anything. The entire menu is delicious. Seating is fairly limited so plan ahead if you need to wait for a seat. Take-out is also a great option. Homemade chips and salsa could be an entire meal. Monster burrito is GIANT.
