Rio Grande Churrascaria

Thoroughly underwhelming experience. Had I not already experiences several other Brazillian steakhouse, I might have been more impressed. But in comparison to the others I've visited, Rio Grande has many opportunities for improvement. * I ordered a Negroni + it was terrible, the waitress was hesitant in wanting to exchange it but ultimately did for a Margarita which wasn't bad. * I had no card or lamp or any indicator to let the guachos know when we wanted to be approached + when we were taking a break * I saw several options come out of (+ returned) to the kitchen without being offered at my table. * The food tasted okay but nothing was exceptional expect for the picanha * No one asked if there were any cuts of meat I hadn't tried or wanted more of In the end, one gaucho, named Vict

I recently visited Rio Grande Churrascaria in Pinecrest, and it was hands down the best Brazilian steakhouse experience I've had in years. What truly sets this place apart is the perfect seasoning--unlike many churrascarias where the meat is overwhelmingly salty, Rio Grande lets the quality of the cuts shine through. The picanha (sirloin cap) was absolutely fantastic--tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. But the surprises didn't stop there. I was delighted to find that they also serve grilled octopus, which was incredibly tender and easily a highlight of the meal. Close to be authentic brazilian rodizio, some brazilian side dishes trademark like " farofa" is not available. But it is worth the price, they charge about 50% of others major chains, so dont expect the same quality. If I am around and looking for steak, I definitely would consider to go back. Meat tasted good, especially the lamb. Also for my surprise they also served a tender and tasty octopus.

The restaurant has a very nice décor, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the entire service. Our server, Freddy, and one of the meat handlers, David, stood out in particular—both were charismatic and made sure we were well taken care of. In terms of food, my experience was consistent with other reviews. Some cuts were a little bland, undercooked, or overcooked, while a few were spot-on with great seasoning and temperature. For reference, I usually prefer my meats cooked medium, though I don’t mind them slightly medium rare or a bit more done. The main disappointment was the churrasco. Amazing restaurant! We went to celebrate my brother’s birthday and had a wonderful time! The food was delicious! They have a great selection of wines as well! Our server Maricely was awesome! She went above and beyond to make us feel at home and even brought a high chair for my daughter’s doll 🥰 💯 recommended!
