More please! 👏🏻 Finally really good street-style Mexican tacos 🌮 The tacos were flavorful and authentic, and the sauces were super good, definitely the highlight. The place is small but cozy, with vivid colors that truly capture a fun, authentic Mexican atmosphere. The vibe is very friendly and welcoming, making it a great spot for a casual meal. The only downside was the chips, which could be better, but everything else made up for it. Tacos y Cantina La Potranca is absolutely worth a visit if you’re craving solid Mexican street tacos! I’ve lived in South Florida for 13 years and I’ve made a serious effort to find authentic Mexican tacos. After trying many places over the years, Tacos y Cantina La Potranca genuinely surprised me. For a long time people said the best tacos were in Homestead. I went many times and while some were good, none really impressed me. This place did. I happened to be working in the Pinecrest area and decided to stop by. I ordered suadero, lengua, and tripa tacos, plus gringas with carne asada and al pastor. Everything was very well prepared, properly seasoned, and tasted like real Mexican street tacos, the kind you hope to find but rarely do in Florida. I had a great experience. The food was 10/10 and the micheladas are definitely some of the best. But what really made the difference was Santiago service, super friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back!

The most delicious tacos and nachos! This is in my top 3 of tacos. The place is kinda small and the a/c wasn’t as cool but other than that, great experience. Next time I’m ordering like 5 tacos.

This place is a must try if you like authentic tacos, there’s also a variety of sauces to choose from. I ordered a chicken taco, a vampire chicken taco, a birria taco. They do not use the shredded chicken, if you’re picky like me, they serve the chicken cubed you’ll love it. Everything has very good and fresh flavor. No complaints on any. There was also no wait time. And we ordered two passion fruit margaritas that were delicious. It was just a little hot but I’m sure it’s because the place is small and the kitchen is in the corner. Besides that, I felt at home because of their choice of old school Spanish music.
