Rio Cantina

We all really enjoyed our dinner. I had the whole red snapper and it was phenomenal! The margarita is a margarita mix so no fresh lime and they did not have simple syrup. Most of their English is not very good. But over all we really enjoyed it. The churro dessert was delicious.

The service and food were totally outstanding. The restaurant is new and very clean and bright. My only complaint is that there is virtually no parking near it. We luckily found a vacant spot, probably only because we arrived for a late (1:30 pm) lunch.

Went there for lunch and ordered bowl salad with chicken that came with a side of soup. The menu wasn't as descriptive, so I wasn't sure I was going to get. The Salad was ok; it was lettuce, tomatoes, and the seasoned chicken. For some reason I expected more, maybe some beans or avocado on it. The soup was traditional, and I quite enjoyed it! I last ordered the flan, and that was ok. It wasn't as smooth as flan is meant to be and it lacked tinge more sweetness but that's due to the texture. It was served with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle. The flavor profile was all over the place here. This dish could be improved with a fresh caramel sauce, and some fresh fruit to stay cost effective. Given the location and the price of $15, I was satisfied with the food and experience. I will be

Very friendly servers, strong alcoholic drinks, food that's pretty good but doesn't wow (at least during my one visit so far), and a bit more expensive than other similar venues in the area

Walked in about 8:10. Only two tables had customers and a third was full of servers/workers. I asked if I could sit at bar and they said yes. I got a beer right away and deferred on food at that time but planned to have some food and another beer. It took 20 minutes before anyone got up from the worker table to check on me. Needless to say I cashed out and my night of very poor service continued.
