Food: Everything we’ve ever ordered has been astounding! All of the food is fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Portion size is great as well! I love the bread options their store offers also. The quesabirrias tacos are a favorite go to! They also provide lime wedges, radish slices, roasted peppers, and roasted onion with the tacos. The fresh, crisp cilantro is the “cherry” on top lol. Service: Every time we go in there, we’re greeted with a smile! All of the employees are really friendly, patient, and helpful. They do their best to explain something on the menu if you’re not fluent in Spanish/don’t know what something is or consists of. They’re very quick and efficient. Ambiance: A quaint, quiet store/restaurant full of delicious options and amazing smells. It’s kept clean and tidy with med
This place is the real deal, you can just tell the food is made with love. By far the best birria I’ve had in Ames, and I’ve tried every place. The quesabirrias I ordered were extremely juicy, and loaded with filling. The side of consume was perfectly balanced, not too rich, and had a nice beefy flavor. The rice was fluffy and not overcooked with a great flavor from seasoning. My girlfriend, a VERY picky eater, ordered a side of sopaipillas and said that they were by far the best she’s ever had. They were fluffy and crispy, perfectly sweet, and “just super yummy”. I also ordered a pupusa with a filling of chorizo, bean, and cheese. It was very delicious, the crust of the dough was crispy with a nice char, and the dough itself was very fluffy and smooth. It went great with their salsa sel
Best Tacos in Ames hands down. Rinconcitos is so good Id slap my grandmother for a taco. Food comes out hotter than 2 squirrels doing it in a wool sock. Tastiest juiciest tacos Birrias Ive ever eaten. But seriously I've tried their tortas, their burritos, their tacos, I love them all.
I was just passing through and saw this restaurant tucked behind Walmart. The food here is very tasty, its freshly made. I had 3 chicken tacos. Very tasty 😋 I also order 2 different kinds of pupusas, they were a bit greasy but nevertheless tasty. Will definitely come back!
