Riko's Pizza

Amazing. We were in the area to go to a children’s museum, and we are super happy we happened upon it. Customer service is extremely happy and welcoming. The staff was great at explaining how many pizzas I should get on a count of their size. The pizza was amazing a delicious bar style. I had the cheese, and the hot oil, and they were both incredible. My wife loved the hot oil, my two-year-old enjoyed cheese, and I loved both. The space is really cool, bar friendly, and restaurant friendly. You can’t go wrong. Go!

Come here all the time but may make another choice in the future . Tonight there were 2 moms with about 5-6 kids in the front. The kids were yelling, screaming, opening and closing the front door over and over with cold air streaming in. Doing cartwheels in the bar area. Throwing food. By far the loudest group in the restaurant. Management did nothing about it. Parents oblivious or just didn’t care. It’s still a restaurant right?, not a playground. At least 10-15 other patrons noticed and negatively impacted their evening. Shocking behavior from the kids and parents. Zero decency. Management should direct them to the back or better yet ask them to leave.

Gets busy on Friday nights with all the families and be prepare to wait. Huge place, best to park in the back instead of the side street by the train track. If you do enter from the main road, you’ll be redirected to the host station on the other side of the restaurant. Apps, thin crust pizzas and their brand Riko beer were great. Tip, if you order apps the pizza will quickly follow as it doesn’t take a lot of time to make it. Even though it’s a restaurant, the environment is all about turning the tables over. We got our check in the middle of meal, which was inconvenient. Good to try out once for a new place in Darien.

Great pizza and service. Try the chicken scarpariello pie

This is one location of a local chain of pizza restaurants. It is in the middle of town and within walking distance of the train station. It has a very large indoor dining area split into two sections. The middle part is used as a pickup location for take out orders. A small patio in the back is used for seasonal outdoor dining. Their thin crust pizza and topping options are amazing and plentiful. This place gets very busy on weekends.
